Joey Beyt, President and CEO, has always been
fanatical about the food industry. After obtaining
certification from The National School of Meat
Cutters in Ohio, he completed an internship with a
meat cutting school in the south of France. He also
received a degree in business and accounting while
gaining valuable experience in the restaurant
industry. At the young age of 22, Joey opened “Joey’s
– An Old Fashioned Meat Market” in a 3,000
square foot building with 3 full time employees.
With the guidance and assistance of his parents,
Bernard and Margaret Beyt and his entire family
Joey’s continues to thrive. One move and several
remodels later Joey’s has become a 10,000
square foot facility with 30 employees. The most
recent addition,
The Fireside Room
increases lunchtime seating capacity and provides
the opportunity to offer on-premise catering.
